Become a Member

ICCA membership is open to legal entities incorporated in accordance with the laws and practices of their country of origin. Natural persons are not eligible for membership of the Association.

Members are requested to be committed to principles and features of the Responsible Care initiative, and improve health, safety and environmental performance.

The Association is composed of two categories of members: the Full Members and the Associate Members.

Full Membership

Full Membership is open to regional federations of national associations, national associations or regional associations of chemical manufacturers that fulfil the following criteria:

to be the leading regional federation of national associations, the leading national association or the leading regional association of chemical manufacturers representing the chemical manufacturing industry in their country or region.
to be committed to ICCA approved principles and features of the Responsible Care® initiative, and be working with their member companies to faithfully implement Responsible Care® and improve health, safety and environmental performance.
to be committed and have the commitment of its members to represent the chemical industry at the international level.

Associate Membership

Associate Membership is open to the regional federations of national associations or national associations or regional associations of chemical manufacturers that fulfil the following criteria:

to be the leading regional federation of national associations, the leading national association or the leading regional association of chemical manufacturers representing the chemical manufacturing industry in their country or region.
to have the intention to apply for ICCA Full Membership and have taken to a satisfactory level the necessary steps towards meeting all the Full membership criteria.
