The fifth session of the UN Environment Assembly (UNEA-5) is expected to take place during the last week of February 2021, in Nairobi, Kenya, as agreed during UNEA-3 in December 2017. By the text, the Assembly decided that going forward, UNEA will convene during the last week in February, unless otherwise decided by UNEA.
